Unable to walk far? Would you like to get around Congleton, do you wish you had your independence and freedom to get out and about to do some of the things you use to do? We are a new facility in the town of Congleton for those with impaired mobility, providing powered scooters, wheelchairs etc to help you or a relative get around the town. This service is for those of you who find it difficult just to do the everyday things able-bodied people take for granted and it doesn't matter whether you’re registered disabled or not. All that is required is that you become a member for a small nominal annual fee and then you can use our scooters whenever you need or want to get around the town. This scheme was set up due to the committee of Congleton Disabled Access Group (many of whom are disabled themselves), this is a group of people who go out of their way to make sure things are done by our Town Councils & Borough Councils to make life easier for those with mobility issues |
